ハイレゾの真意 - the true meaning of hi-res audio -

ハイレゾという言葉がよく聞かれるようになって久しいです。音に限って言えば「聴こえないほどの高周波帯域を含む高解像度」という意味合いで使われると思いますが、単に「音が柔らかい」「本物に近い」などの観念的な話はともかく、その真実はどこにあるのでしょうか。私達が長岡技術科学大学の中川教授と共同で、脳波のフラクタル指数を用いた感性分析を進めた実験では、湾曲板を湾曲圧力を振動源とする凛舟と、一般的な粗密波方式のハイレゾスピーカーを比較した場合、生録音のハイレゾ音源だと凛舟が心地よさ、安心といった快の感性を35%向上させ、不安や恐れといった不快の感性を55％減少させる結果が出たのに対し、全く同じ曲、同じテンポ、同じ演奏内容、同じ音量ですが、ハイレゾ・サンプリング音源を使いコンピューター演奏させたハイレゾ音源だと、快が51...
