音楽療法と認知症の脳機能 / brain activity in dementia and music therapy

この図は、音楽聴取時の脳波のフラクタル次元を計測した際の、凛舟を使った場合（左）と従来型の高級ハイレゾ対応スピーカーを使用した場合（右）の比較です。凛舟の場合、平安、安らぎを感じる右脳前頭野（F4）がより活性化し、不安、恐れを感じる左脳前頭野（F3）が不活性化しているのが分かります。音源はいずれも24bit96KHzです。認知症と音楽療法の取り組みについて、注目が集まってきています。今朝のテレビでも取り上げられておりました。専門の先生によると、昔懐かしい曲を歌うことで、認知・判断・行動の経路が反復されることで脳機能の活性化につながる、ということでした。確かに介護施設でも、童謡を共に歌った時の反応は、やはり皆さんの目が輝いています。ケアを提供する側にとっても、大きな励みになりますね。一方で、音楽療法の副作...

凛舟の原木 - whole raw tree for Rinshu -

来年のロットに向けて、桐の巨木を購入しました。材の高さ2.8m。木目が出るように凛舟専用の厚みと幅に挽いてもらいました。欠けや虫食いなどもほとんどなく、とても状態の良い木材が手に入りました。　これが購入した原木。これから１年間、天然乾燥と渋出しに入ります。冬に入る前にこれをスタートしてしまわないといけないとのこと、ギリギリのタイミングでした。今日はヒョウが降っています。 -------------------------------- We bought whole raw wood for next Rinshu production. 2.8m in length, and specially sliced for Rinshu purpose only.
